The third Amaravati Balotsavam was conducted grandly from December 6 to 8, 2019, at Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikarjuna Rao Engineering College, Vijayawada. The three-day children’s festival brought together thousands of students on a common platform to celebrate creativity, learning, and cultural expression. The event provided children with opportunities to showcase their talents through music, dance, drama, literature, and academic activities, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and enthusiasm.
Students from government, aided, missionary, private, and corporate schools participated together, promoting unity and mutual appreciation. With around 10,000 participants, number of schools 190, volunteers 270 and including students, teachers, volunteers, and parents, the festival became one of the largest children’s celebrations in Vijayawada, inspiring confidence, creativity, and holistic development among young minds.

Amaravati Balotsavam – 2019 was organised with the objective of nurturing children’s talents and encouraging joyful learning beyond academics. The festival featured a wide range of academic and cultural activities, including storytelling, poetry, public speaking, dance, drama, and science-related presentations. These activities helped students develop confidence, communication skills, creativity, and social awareness.
Children also presented meaningful performances addressing important social themes such as environmental protection, road safety, women’s empowerment, and preservation of culture and language. Classical and folk dances, dramatic performances, and literary activities highlighted the rich cultural heritage of India.
With the dedicated support of organisers, volunteers, teachers, and institutions, Balotsavam-2019 became a memorable and inspiring event. The festival reinforced the importance of providing children with platforms that encourage creativity, talent, and overall personality development, helping shape responsible and confident future citizens.
