History of Balotsavam – 2023

The 6th Amaravati Balotsavam was conducted successfully on 19th, 20th, and 21st December 2023 at Siddhartha College. The festival was organised with the inspiring central theme “Love the Nation,” encouraging students to develop patriotism, social responsibility, and cultural values.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 10,000 students from 195 schools, volunteers 250 making it one of the largest and most successful Balotsavams.

Competitions and Participation

A total of 55 competitions were conducted in both academic and cultural categories. These competitions provided students with opportunities to showcase their:

Students actively participated in events such as essay writing, drawing, cultural performances, music, dance, and other creative competitions.

Special Highlights

The main stage was named in honour of the great agricultural scientist Professor M. S. Swaminathan, recognising his valuable contributions to agriculture and national development.

Amaravati Balotsavam – 6 was a grand celebration of children’s talent, creativity, and patriotism. With the participation of thousands of students and schools, the festival strengthened its mission of nurturing young minds and promoting holistic development.
